Khalid Kerimli has 14 years of financial and accounting experience in manufacturing, service and management. In 2011-2017 he was Chief Financial Officer at Garant Holding (ZQAN Holding). Khalid Kerimli, who currently serves as the finance director at Embawood Group of Companies, holds a "member" status from the ACCA and is also a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

Since 2004, he has been providing training in international financial accounting at various universities in the country, including the Economic University and the Business School of the University of Azerbaijan and other training centers.
